Andrew King, MRAIC

Design Principal, lemayLAB and Adjunct Professor, McGill University, School of Architecture

Andrew King has led design studios in large and small firms across Canada and Europe, including his own research initiative, AKA. Work has been published and recognized internationally. Selected one of Canada’s “design leaders” by the Globe and Mail, he has been awarded the Canada Council for the Arts Prix de Rome, two AIA Progressive Architecture (P/A) Awards of Excellence and two Canadian Architect Awards of Excellence. King has held academic design chairs at McGill University, Carleton University and the Royal Danish Academy of Art and is currently an Adjunct Professor at McGill.

Christopher Macdonald, FRAIC

Full Professor and past Director, School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, the University of British Columbia

Christopher Macdonald received his education from the University of Manitoba and the Architectural Association School of Architecture, he has been engaged in some combinations of practice and academic life throughout his career. Early practices at Macdonald and Salter resulted in numerous publications, exhibitions, and professional programs. Teaching has included the AA School, SciARC, the University of Texas, and currently UBC.
