Heritage buildings have an interesting story to tell. Their preservation and adaptive reuse, however, present many challenges. Can sustainable lighting and current technology harmonize with respectful restoration?
One key to successful lighting of heritage (and) adaptive reuse is a rigorous design process that works within heritage guidelines. In this seminar, we will explore case studies of notable and award-winning heritage lighting projects, from concept through completion. These examples will reinforce the potential harmony of the old and the new, when approached with careful analysis and creative design.
