David Scarlett, OAQ, MRAIC is Parks Canada’s Chief Architect - Built Heritage.
After several years working in the private sector on heritage architecture projects, David moved in 1990 to Ottawa to work with the National Capital Commission as an architect and project manager. In 2001, David was named the NCC’s Chief Architect, a position he held for fourteen years. In 2015, David opened a new chapter in his career when he moved to the Parks Canada Agency to work as Chief Architect - Built Heritage.
