What are the challenges faced by emerging practitioners and their employers in the workplace and how can they be addressed to make a stronger firm? What are emerging practitioners doing to challenge the norms of architectural practice and how can firms learn from these strategies to create a more dynamic and resilient practice?
This session, put on by the RAIC Emerging Practitioners - an advocacy group for intern architects, students and recently licensed architects - aims to not only present the challenges and opportunities faced by emerging practitioners but to showcase ways in which they can and are challenging the norms of architectural practice. The first half of the presentation will present RAIC EP research findings while the second half will showcase video interviews of various architects and designers who are pushing the boundaries of architecture and design, inspiring others to do the same.
