Heather Dubbeldam is the principal of Dubbeldam Architecture + Design, an award-winning, multidisciplinary architecture studio in Toronto. Dubbeldam’s diverse range of projects have garnered wide recognition in national and international publications. Heather holds numerous leadership positions with design advocacy organizations including the Toronto Society of Architects, Design Industry Advisory Committee and Twenty+Change. She is also known for promoting a long-term vision toward environmental sustainability and a commitment to incorporating sustainable design into her firm’s projects. Dubbeldam was recently awarded the Professional Prix de Rome in Architecture, in support of their travel research on sustainable architecture in northern climates, specifically in Scandinavia and Germany.
