It is smart to design and construct building envelope skins that are energy efficient for lower operating costs and are resilient/durable to protect the public and reduce the environmental damage caused by climate change.  it is essential to design and build a better envelope as building skin’s are not easily replaced  and have a direct impact on building performance by reducing or eliminating the need for oversized heating/cooling equipment. Therefore, the building envelope becomes the best place for clients to invest extra effort in building skin concepts, design and construction for the best return on investment -- both short-term and long-term.

Bob is a Building Envelope Expert and has over 40 years of experience in Building Science, Sustainability, and design of new and retrofit of energy efficient durable building envelopes for all types of buildings. Bob develops client relationships and provides CODE/ISO sustainability and LEED Building Science Professional Engineering Services. Bob founded Cedaridge Services Inc. in 1996 and works with world-class innovation companies with game changing technologies. He has worked on over 50 LEED-projects and is the co-author of the LEED Durable Building credit. Dr. Ray Cole at UBC Architecture is a co-author. Bob is responsible for providing innovative solutions for the built environment.
